Monkey Cake (bread)

2 oz walnuts or pecans
4 cans biscuits (10 count, not buttermilk)
1 2/3 cup sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
1 1/2 sticks butter
Cut up 2 cans biscuits into quarters. Shake in plastic bag with 2/3 cup sugar, 2 tsp cinnamon.
Layer in greased tube/bundt pan.
Bring 1 cup sugar, 1 1/2 sticks butter to boil in sauce pan. Spoon 1/2 mixture over cut up biscuits. Sprinkle with nuts and raisins or apples if desired.
Repeat with remaining cans of biscuits.
Add some nuts or candied cherries to bottom if desired.
Bake 45 minutes at 350.
Remove from pan within 15 minutes.
